The fitness market has often tried to pigeonhole its male consumers. It seems like most fitness routines are focused on bulk, size and strength for men who want to look like world-class bodybuilders and gym rats. But we know that often men want different things. Not every guy wants to look like he’s about to burst out of his clothes. Indeed, many men, perhaps even the majority, simply want to be healthy, fit, strong and toned. Read a full P90X Review Here.

Sam: All I ever hear about these days is Hoodia. Has anybody tried it with p90x?

ethan21: Well, it's only been one week since I got P90x but I think its a good program. I mean, it beats going to the gym, or taking pills.

marc: Well I, for one, Love P90x. I believe it takes a lot of discipline but if you follow it and stick with it, it works. It's been almost a month for me and its tough but good.

CAMERON: So do you have to do P90 for 90 days before you lose weight? Because I want to lose my weight more quickly, like in a month. Maybe I'll look more closely. What is Hoodia, btw, is it part of P90x program, Sam?

Andrew: OVerall, I think P90x is probably pretty good for sculpting. I can't say I've seen significant changes yet, but that's because sometimes I just stretch instead of doing the exercises I'm supposed to, when they're too challenging. That's my problem - if nobody's watching I kinda cheat a little.

bradley: I like the exercises, actually...they're really motivating and they got me into working out again, had sorta got lazy since college footballl days.

JTC_bombardier: HOw much iron does the average person need per day? I think I might be slightly deficient, even though I eat plenty of meat.

Nick: well i dont no what they r talking about with muscle confusion, how do you confuse ur muscles without confusing ur whole body? I think this sounds like one of those product's that tries to hard to be different.

jake: If I JUST wanna do yoga, should I still get P90X? Or would I be better off getting a different type of yoga video? I don't want to do all the other stuff I don't think.

BigMac: Dude, why you wanna do yoga, what are you a girld? And what's kenpo? I see 1 of the workouts in P90X is "Kenpo." I don't know what that is, exactly, but it looks pretty cool.

Sean Dixon: P90X is the bomb. I am runner, triathlete and a retired military veteran. P90X has turned back the clock. I have not felt this great in years. I am in my 9th week of the P90X Lean program and I am really like the results I'm seeing so far. With only four weeks left I am motivated to finish strong and get ready for another 90 days of P90X. I'll do these workouts for the rest of my life. So, go get your P90X and bring-it.

Jennifer, Pacific Grove, CA: P90X is a great program. It requires a lot of discipline but once I push play I bring it. I went from a size 10 to a size 6. I feel fit and I look great!

Ed: This P90x system sounded pretty cool, like it would kinda "do it all" with just one program, but I am having some doubts about this now. Thx for these posts.

Jonah: So far I like P90x, it's been about 30 days, and I think I am slimming down a little. I haven't had any troubles, but it sure is a challenge. HEy I was wondering if anyone here has used hte FlexBelt? Iv'e heard that's good too, for your abs.

Nicholas_77: What are "Plyometrics" and "Synergistics"?? These are 2 of the videos included in P90x, and they just don't sound like real exercises to me.

suzanne: Hi guys, sorry for the intrusion into the male world! Just have a question. My husband never wants to eat vegetables, go for a walk or try new foods. In other words, he's unhealthy and I think he's making ME fat. What I can do change this? I would love for both of us to be healtheier. Is p90x somehting wer could do together? I would love any advice!!

ben_kenobi: Has anyone here tried those supplements from beach body, with p90x? I don't know what's in 'em, not sure how good they are.

Vic: Ohh, I've heard of The Flex Belt...saw it on TV, haven't tried it though, but it looks cool. JUst ordered the P90x system, am hoping it kicks my butt.

Thom: Hey, if P90x can help me loose weight AND get ripped, I still wanna try it. I think it seems like a good comprehensive program and it might be what I need. I guess I'll just take my chances with it.

LYLE: Suzanne, that's a tough one, bcs couples generally DO influence one another, in terms of their daily habits. I think the best idea would be for you to set a healthy example for your husband, and invite him to join you in this. Tell him you want him to be around for a while, so you need him to be healthy. Then, do what you need to do for yourself. If he's smart, he will follow you, but ultimately you cannot force him. Us men are stubborn as mules you know. Whatever you do though, don't tell him he's fat or lazy, that'll just piss him off. Good luck to ya.

thatdude_89: This seemed okay but yeah it looks like Tony Horton is sorta full of himself and I don't want to learn from a guy like that. I don't know, I gotta look into P90x a little more I guess.

reese: so far i like p90x, it's not that bad. not easy but i need to be pushed more anyhow.

Mike: P90x is not so horrible I haven't had any bad expereinces yet wiht it. I'm hoping to lose 24 lbs after 90 days we'll see if I can do it.

Larry B.: You only get what you put in this is a tough workout for people who want to get ripped. This is not for fat people you should be able to run a mile now and do 20 push ups good ones before ever ordering it you cant expect results with out the work.

Rick: my experience w/Beach Body & P90x has been really quite positive. Sure, P90x was a bit tough @ first (it was develop by Navy SEALS what do u want?) but eventually it got easier & i felt a lot stronger. I found that the customer serivce peeops answered my questions and were very cooperative. i had no issues with shipping or billing or any of that.

Pete: I'm not trying to loose weight, just tone & get in shape. I'm skinny, but totally out of shape - i.e. I don't work out, not buff. This program looks VERY intimidating and hard if you are not already in shape. Comments?

JEFF: Wow, typical Americans. We all want something for nothing. We want great fit, toned and ripped bodies we just do not want to give up our sedentary, junk food eating, lazy habits. As a former track coach who has run 11 marathons, the concepts outlined in the program are legit. Muscle confusion is no different than other training programs that high level athletes put themselves through. In running, we call the cycles periodization. In terms of the diet, no, you cannot continue to eat the same high fat, high carb foods you did before and expect different results. You are what you eat. As for the person who said their appetite actually increased, that does not surprise me in that with increased exercise, your body will crave the needed nutrition to help it recover. My advice, get a personal trainer who will watch over you 3-4 days per week and expect to pay about 200-300 per month at the minimum. You will still have to change your diet.

grizz: Almost ordered it but did more research on it. Seems like a pretty expensive way to workou. Exercise, eat right, and you'll do fine is what I say. Plenty of good (cheap) books out there to follow. Any of you guys know of any good pills, btw, for getting things going in the bedroom? Thats my reason for being on this blog, just got sidetracked here.

dAVE: I think the program is great, Yeah, it's hard but they tell you AHEAD of time that it's hard and that you have to be fit before you start! I have been doing it for 3 weeks and I love it and I have GREAT results. Stop complaining and really DO it!

JC: I get the sense that some of the people making posts on here would have a problem with 'any' workout program that actually requires you to work out. Even a sloppy workout program that gets you doing more than you are doing is going to be better than sitting on a computer complaining. It's interesting that no one on here has listed a program that did work. Having gone to the gym for 20 years I was always amazed at the people (usually out of shape and overweight) who would complain about the facilities...and they had a WHOLE GYM full of equipment at their disposal. The only thing stopping these people from working out was the person looking at them in the mirror.

Chad Munroe: Tony Horton you are my GOD. Let ME be the Atlantic Canada Beach Body Rep!

john, nashville: AWESOME! I feel and am so much stronger now. Highly recommend P90X

kj: Anybody got some before/after shots to show there results with P90x? thx

Brandon: This program is called P90X not P21days or P7 days...Anyone who doesn't give it the full 90 days is a quitter....typical lazy Americans wanting something for nothing or in this case, no effort of your part. I've lost 41 pounds in 72 days and I'm only 18 pounds away from my target weight. After the 90 days are over, I probably wont do these work outs regularly but they've established a new healthy lifestyle for me and thats what matters. Stick with it.

Buyer25: Anyone interested in selling their p90x and live in STL?

Tomas: I did p90x and complied to the program as designed and had great success. Following the program as designed, you'll get results, don't give up. And sorry dude, I'm not selling mine!

getnshape: Looking to buy P90x, I know several who are using it and LOVE it. If interested in selling yours. please pos ! Thanks!

TYLER: I just received P90x. After reading all these blogs I'm super stoked. I use to be a gym rat years ago. I need to rid 30 pounds or so, and want to get ripped. I hope this system works. The only supplement I might take is creatine. Any response

Alec: Quality in, Quality out. Garbage in, Garbage out. If you pay attention to the advertising of P90X you will see that the product was designed specifically for people who are already active and fairly fit and even includes a fitness pre-test to determine if you should begin using the product. You are either commited to a healty lifestyle and results via the P90X program or whichever workout you choose or not. There is no half way or shortcut! Please stop making excuses or blaming a company or program for your lack of results. P90X is a fantastic program as are may other programs that are based on scientific principles.

Rusty: I like the program, mixes it up nicely and the company has never given me any problems on products. P90X is an extreme workout so would not surprise me to see alot of quitters post here. Its not a Get fit quick for no work type of thing. It is intense. Most people don't like something that is hard. More effort, More work, faster results.

Kenneth: i'm already in pretty decent cardio shape, ive been jogging 5 miles a day for almost 2 yrs. Lately i have been thinking about switching to P90x so i could get the cardio and the strenght training all in one shot. do u guys think i'm in good enough shape so this will be doable? i dont lift weights but like i said i am used to running dailyl.

Karen: I bought the original Power 90 and I would recommend it to a man. I found the guy to be annoying and it was a little boring. I couldn't stay on it to find out how I would look in 90 days. Overall I was just not happy with it but if you can do the moves I think you would lose weight or at least tone up.

greg: In three months I have lost 50 lbs. by combining P90x with a good diet (South Beach). I havent been starving, just eating good food in moderation and doing p90x on a consistent basis. Its a good plan for me.

SmokeyJOe: Getting in shape takes hard WORK and dedication. P90x works if YOU work at it, plain & simple. Have a nice day!!!

T.J.: I am pretty sure most of your problems would be solved by taking the fitness pre-test to see if you can even do this. It says that it is a hard, 90 day program that requires an hour a day. It also states this is not a quick fix. Personally, I have been sore every day since I started this program, but its great. Really hard, and as for the price, just find someone who has a copy and burn the cd's (thats what I did). 20 bucks for a pull up bar and 20 bucks for some resistance bands and thats it. Bottom line is this: If you are in good enough shape to start this program, and you stay true and complete the program, you will see dramatic changes.

Anonymous: i agree with smokeyjoe. i am considering the p90 & wanted to read the comments here. seems like a challenging program that you really gotta stick to, to see results. will post back with results.

slance4545: I purchased P90X 2 months ago,& I feel strong & great!! The ladies love me,& I love them!!So,If you love yourself? Get off your butt,& buy P90X!Trust me & trust in yourself!

ericajohnston: I purchased p90x a couple of months ago and I have not yet gotten through the first cd you know the pull up bar(chest and back)it's difficult for a first timer and it's to harsh to be in that first sequence.I'll keep you posted.I have not lost hope.

Eddie: I personally love P90X. The workouts are challenging and I am seeing and feeling results in only 2 months. My 19 year old daughter is also toning up and losing body fat. She is more disciplined than I am in the nutrition department. Here is a note to all the people worried about not losing weight fast. You gain some muscle while losing weight. This means your weight loss will be less but your body will be looking better. I still cannot make it through all the workouts completely, but each week I get stronger and progress a little further. I started this program fairly out of shape because I hadn't worked out in 3 years. My daughter was in better shape but didn't work out regularly. I never thought I would watch a video exercise tape because I used to work out at the gym, with weights and some cardio. I can't wait until my next workout. If you really want results you must work hard, very hard. No going through the motions. Treat this program like you are training for the olympics and you will see results. In 2 months I have put on muscle and lost body fat. Weight loss is about 7 pounds. Legs and Back plus Ab-Ripper tomorrow and I can't wait! I'm going to be 49 this year and feel great about having more endurance and looking and feeling better. P90X works if you want it to! You need to be dedicated and work hard!

BILL: Just do the program there is a cool video here you can check out if your not in shape to do it, then walk daily and eat more vegetables, and soon you will be able to handle it. Complaining is not going to get it done. Get your asses of the couch, turn off the TV and just do it. Nothing worth achieving comes easy!!!

Jodi Gjersvik: My husband began working out with P90X in January 2009. He had never had an exercise regime during the 15 years of our marriage. He now works out every morning without fail. By the way, he looks fantastic. I have a heart issue which led me to choose P90 for my workout. Even though I was sad that I could not do the same workout as my husband, I am greatful to have P90 for my workout. I am able to improve my cardio-performance slowly, safely and effectively.

Scott Delmore, Molalla, OR: I started working out last August using a tread climber, Wii fit, and even some pull ups. Over a three month period I lost 20 pounds then I hit a pleateau. I got frustrated, but kept at it but did not lose another pound over a three month period. Then I saw the p90x commercial and was amazed at what I was hearing. I was living it. So I ordered that night. I am starting my third phase of the lean routine and have already lost another 10 pounds and my wife loves how ripped my body is becoming.

alan: This is an intense series of workouts. They really are tough, and not for the faint of heart. I really enjoy them. I did injure a muscle while in week 12 or so - it has held me back for 3-4 weeks of rebuilding. I think it is worthwhile although I must write that the woman - DREYA, is EXTREMELY ANNOYING on the tape. I have several tapes and like all the participants, but this women is particulary annoying. I've been thinking about taking yohimbe, for several reasons, anyone see any extra gains by taking that while doing this program, by chance?

josh: Ive been doing the p90x program for a month now and im getting great results im definetely toning up, and i feel great. i could see why people could have a problem with the program. it takes hard discipline and dedication. and you cannot be out of shape. this program is for people who are in good shape trying to step it up another level. it was worth every single penny. for all those lazy people who can't commit to anything in your life this is not for you.

Papa G: Caveat Emptor Kiddies: If you bought P90X without doing your research, blame yourself if it's not your can of beans and move on. The workout program itself is not for the weak. If you don't have any preexisting medical conditions and follow the program as outlined (including the diet plan), you will experience tremendous results. If most of you detractors would have done more reasearch before buying, including visits the the message boards, you could have either found alternatives or realized the product wasn't for you. Done.

Randy D.: I have not read one constructive negative comment about this program. It,s tough and not for beginners. I train regularly and have seen the effects first hand of muscle confusion when trying to move beyond plataeu,s. There are so many workouts for this reason and they are damn challenging mostly from and endurance standpoint since they are each an hour long. i personally love the variety and if you don't like Tony Horton you have the option of doing the workouts with music and cue,s. You will gain some size but it is not the main purpose of the program. Low body fat, lean muscle mass and endurance are. Thumbs up for me. It appears most of those with negative comments simply gave up.

Eva Ball, Castlerock CO: I had my 2nd baby 5 months ago. When I was cleared by my doctor to start up a fitness routine post baby I turned to the P90X system. Its been five months and I look amazing and not only am I back to the size I was BEFORE my 1ST child I have abs. This system works. But, the videos are difficult and you have to keep at it and keep going. The results come not only from the videos but from your own determination. Keep at it and you wont regret it.

Dennis: I have no doubt that P90X is a good program, but at my age & fitness level, it was a bit too intense. I used to be a tennis player and I thought I could still be as physical. But I guess at 50 I have to know my limits. It is hard to find an appropriate balance of exercise and eating right and having the energy and all that. I think this is a great program for more active types but for the overweight and out of shape middle aged person this is going to be somewhat unrealistic, at least to start. If your going to do it i would say work your way up to it first with some regular aerobic exericse.

Andy T.: I tried P90X a year ago, and had good results for 60 days...then, personal developments caused me to have to discontinue it. A couple months ago, I started a dry run, just getting back into the exercise regimen. Last Sat. 9/13, I started P90X in earnest. I finished day 4 today. I am not following the nutrition plan verbatim, but I am using it as a guide. I am planning my dail food intake each morning, and I am watching portions, calories, nutritional concentration, etc. I am following the workout program strictly, which means I give it everything I have. None of this is easy to do. Developing a physique like Tony Horton's takes a lot of time and effort, and you have to follow a nutrition plan. I'm sorry if anyone suggested that those who did not succeed are "quitters". I don't look at anyone who tries this program a that way. It is by far the most difficult workout routine I have ever done, as long as I give it all I have. That's the beauty of it. When I'm working out, I know if I'm doggin' it, and I know when I'm bringin' it. It's not an easy or quick fix. Based on the discipline it requires, it certainly is not for most people. I will spend 10 hours a week in my gym, and another 10 - 12 hours a week sticking to the nutrition plan. That's almost 3 hours a day, a huge time commitment. The proof will be in the results after 90 days, but I'm optimistic. I'll let you know how it goes... Andy Tomlin

christopher: I've purchased P90X four months ago and it's working good for me. The first month i lost a great amount of pound and the work out was great. P90X challenges your body to it's limits and i think that's the great part about it. I'm now at the my goal weight and in the best shape ever, when i started P90X i wasn't in shape at all and yes it was hrad for me to try and keep up but i never quit. Thanks to P90X I can do a lot more things with getting tired so quickly. As for those with thumb down, i think you're not applying yourself to the program. You got to stick to the program. anyways my brother has just begun using it and we're both seeing results. I would recommend this program to anyone who has motivation and won't quit.

Anonymous: Tip: for purchasing, do it through the linked site above like this you can get a refund, plus it is much much cheaper that way. tip 2 you need to be in pretty good shape to use it tip 3, you need to stick with it for it to work tip 4 the diet plan is very difficult to understand, I recommend "eat to live" which you can find in any book store tip 5 you can get cheaper recovery drink and protein shake Whey and others for cheaper at local Mall vitamin store tip 6 the first two or three weeks are tough, but if you get past these it does become easier tip 7, you can turn off the cheesy workout music and play your own, which is nice since you do the same stuff over and over again. overall it is good and very hard, but I like a challenge. This is not for everyone, and probably much harder for those with low upper body strength.

Stevey: p90x is awesome. you have to commit to each and every day doing a routine---eat right and changes will come. i'm already in preety good shape and this program is very tough. i stay sore after each workout. you get up the next day and keeping pushing yourself.

Hannah Davis: This is the most diverse and effective DVD workout program. As an avid, 15 year Video and DVD fitness veteran, this is by far the best investment Ive ever made. At 39 with two kids, Im in the best shape of my life. I recommend it to all my friends, family and colleagues. Warning though, this is not a workout for those not willing to work hard.

Nathan: I totally agree with randy as a fitness professional, personal trainer, and runner myself I have found that many people want results without working hard for them. I do not have the program, but have herd many wonderful thing about it and have seen some of the results first hand. The concept sounds legit and makes sense to me.

a.scott01: I would recommend to anyone buying this program that if you're a beginner, please use only the stretching DVD for the first couple of weeks to get your body acclimated to changes. DO NOT workout if you have not worked out for some time. And I mean not only years, but months. And you do NOT have to follow the DVD so close that if you are getting behind you have to push yourself. Sit down and review the DVDs first on a Saturday morn and see what you feel comfortable with doing. I;m totally into this. And someone asked about yohimbe? I've taken it, in a few products, helps with stamina during workouts, and also noticed some benefits during sex...seem to get hard quicker & last longer. Good herb. P90x was a bit hard in the beginning I guess I am complaining a bit, I mean i do it sometimes - but at others I give up. Still gettin the feel.

Shockman: Hey there everyone. My wife and I are in our mid 40s and we have been able to hang in there with P90x. and are doing well. We are active and in better shape than some of our friends. Look I am not not "ripped" and I am not going to disparage anyone that has a problem with this product (P90X).. If you want results you need to do it in a healthy way. Just check your health with a doctor and talk to them about your plans. If you take it day by day and stay away from the Fast Food market, eat fresh veggies, broasted chicken, fresh fish, lean cuts of meat and moderate your alcohol intake, all will see results. What are your expectations? Know your body and how you treat it. Good luck to everyone.

StopComplaining: Am glad to see more likeminded folks on this blog. Have seen a lot of whining in other forums. Want to say, to those of you compaining about the program itself, you have to be in decent shape to begin with. If your 50+ pounds over weight, you won't be able to do the workout without cheating. Cheating only hurts you. Unless you cheat, get no results, then come on here to complain, making other people question the program. DO THE WORK AND YOUR BODY WILL DO THE REST! Did any of you do the fit test to begin with before you bought P90X? If, all of you who are complaining would have, you would have realized that you are too out of shape to attempt P90X. The X does stand for extreme. When you watch the video, and even those in very good shape people have problems doing it, you know it is going to be hard. You need to lose weight first, get in good cardiovascular health, then come back to tone your body. Don't start here then complain.

Pete Van Winkle, Kennesaw, Ga.: First things first, thank you for this oustanding workout program. In 90 days, I dropped 10 percent of my body weight, lost two pant sizes, lowered my resting heart rate from over 85 to 48 bpm, lowered my blood pressure from 124 over 80 to 118 over 72 and in the end have a ripped body to prove that P90X works. Awesome stuff. Many thanks.

travis: This looks cool, found a few other cool things on this blog. Thinking about the rockHard weekend and also the Flexbelt looks good. thx for the info!

Nat: wheres the best place to buy it?

devon: As a Physical Therapist and someone who has had exercise as part of my personal and professional life I believe in the P90X program. Yes is takes time and commitment. Yes it is hard. Yes there are GREAT results. Fitness, nutrition and lifestyle commitments are for life. First go around I used the Lean program and lost several inches, also lost 11#. Took a few months off and did a Sprint Tri. Now back on for round 2 for the Classic program burning a new level of fat off! Plan to do two rounds of P90X plans a year. Thank you Tony! PS. My girlfriend loves the results!

al: Well keep in mind that u actually have to use the P90x program for athe amount of time designated, in order to see if it works for you. Stock with it for 90 days and then comment. It's a kick ass program but not for beginners. Well worth the money, in my opion.

Jarett: The workouts in P90X are hard for beginners. The program is designed for people who are in relatively good shape and want to increase their current fitness level. I barely made it past the fit test and had diffuculty making it through all the workouts outs in good form the first week and a half. The diet takes disipline, but you never go hungry. I consume almost 3000 calories during 6 meals a day. But you must pay attention to portion size, type and quality of food eaten. The suppliments are very good, and compared to a what is available though outlets like GNC, they usually offer more for less, and yes, I did the comparisons. The protein bars I buy locally because I found ones that were of superior quality for less. All that being said, half way through the program at the 45 day mark, I have lost 30.3 pounds of fat, gained 8.7 pounds of muscle, and have shown great increases in strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. I have lost 2 inches in my hips, 2 inches in my waist, and 3 and a half inches around the belly, while increasing by chest size by 1.5 inches, each bicep by 1/2inch, and each thigh by 3/4 of an inch. The program works, but only if you are willing to work your ass off. All in all the program works, but you have to be committed to it. Good luck to all who are willing to stick with it. You will receive results, but the quality of those results will be entirely up to you.

Chuck: P90X ROCKS! My wife and I are on day 61. Yes, it kicks our a**es but it is supposed to. That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I would suggest P90X to everyone. It is intense and difficult to push through but it is worth it. We both see a difference in our bodies. It is a good program that can be done at home.

Judd: Hey tried the P90X program and overall it worked well for me. In total I spent about a month preparing to start the course and my G/F joined in with the program. Yes it was hard work and yes the whole thing seems to be confusing at the start but by preparing your 'gym area' and getting your shopping routine sorted out ie looking at other suppliers for the supplies of supplements you will see a difference, however you do need a training partner, same as anyother training routine to help you pick yourself up when you are at a low and push you through the barriers at times.

brian: I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks with P90X...ususally at about this time is when i hit a plateau in any weight loss but this workout and its 'muscle confusion' approach helped with that quite a bit.. Some of the workouts are hard, for sure, but I am down a pant size, and my progress is not slowing down. Glad to see someone figured out how to break through the plateaus. Usually thats when i get discouraged and give up. not this time.

DL: I love P90x it works great! I have seen great results after 90 day's and i'm starting round 2! What i am reading mostly has nothing to do with the product but more with the consumer. Sounds like commitment and hard work are just too much for some. if you read the instructions on the product it clearly states 3 different kinds of work outs easy to hard. People tend to jump into things without reading the fine print. i am a believer because I started at 268 pounds and now weigh 200, a total loss of 68 pounds in 90 days! stick with it!

p90x fan: P90X is awesome, thx for the link!!!!

christine: I was writing to say Thanks to Tony horton for the wonderful easy to follow work out videos. i used 10 minute trainer for 4 months and then moved onto p90x and I am now in my 3rd month. I have lost 25 pounds and went from a size 11 to a size 4. I have been sharing my before and after pictures with my friends and family and giving them inspiration to do the same. Love the new me.

beltacular_2008: I just bought the program and am waiting for it to arrive. I ran cross country for four years in college, and now that I have graduated, I find it more difficult to motivate myself. Adjusting to life as a "real adult" has been more challenging than I expected. I wanted to get a personal trainer, but I work on a ship and it is not possible for me to do so. Does anyone who liked the program have any idea on how to get the best results out of it? Any modifications that work? Also, does anyone know if I can add to the DVD's by running, doing things I enjoy etc..? I am not looking to lose weight though. Please give feed back if you have it. I want to try and make the most of this.

Joe: The wife and I are in our second week of P90X and the workouts are tough but to get the results we are looking for, we would not have expected any less. Sure some workouts have been extremely difficult to finish but we move on to another easier workout and eventually as we progress our fit levels, will round out all 12 workouts. Consider not so much the 90 day challenge, but the desire to at least perform some physical activity. And you got to know your body's limitations when conducting the exercise regimens. It's not for the beginner. So far I like the array of exercises. I'm 52 and sticking with it.

Brendan S.: P90X is one of the first of it's kind. The reason many people don't see the results they want is because one, the have a very poor diet and even while doing the P90X workout they will still eat at the local Burger King or McDonalds. So the duh factor does come into play here. Another reason people wont see results is because the stop doing the workout half way because the get to tired or what-not. I know for a fact that if you have a good diet plan and continue use of the P90X workout you'll get the results you want. I did just one P90X disk the other night and I could feel the results the next day. So in ending get healthy and stop being a baby because you didn't get results in a week. getting a great body takes time and effort. It wont come overnight.

emoney: the product has worked just fine for me,, very good results and yes the workouts are tough. you have to have the determination to start and finish them, and if you dont,, its not the programs fault,, its yours.. here's a reality check,, you get out of it what you put into it,, like life,, if you do it half a**ed,, you get half results,,you dont get instant weight loss and muscle for free or easy,,, it takes getting off of your butt and doing some work,, and from reading some of these posts,, that look like a new concept to some people..

Jeremy.: P90X is wonderful for me so far. I've been working out steadily for the past four years, and this program is pushing me hard. I'm seeing nice results just into my second week. I think focusing more on how you look/feel is more important than the actual number of your weight. Muscle weighs too, you know? In any case, this is a sound program. Muscle confusion is real, and without it anyone who exercises knows that plateaus happen as muscles get used to things and aren't challenged enough. Do your homework, choose a fitness regime accordingly, and if you choose P90X get ready to work and not make excuses.

Ike: You get out of workout what you put into it. They don't call this an extreme work out for nothing. I personally love it. Yes, it is hard, yes it hurts, and yes you see results if you follow the work out. I do think it is easier if you have a partner to do this with or even someone else who is doing it(even if they are doing it at their house) just to have someone to talk to and help keep you motivated. You don't have to be a work out guru to do this either. Anyone can do anything if they want it bad enough. Even Tony (the trainer on the video) says "you can do anything for 30 secs". 30 secs is better than no seconds. People talk about not having time. You have to make time. We get up at 4:30 AM and we make it happen. Yes, we do end up in bed by 9 or 10 PM some nights, but the reward of working out hard and strong is so worth it.

Tyson: i have not purchased the program yet but was interested in what others had to say and a i have found these comments to be very helpful thank you. I am wondering if this program is all right for someone who is very fit cardiovascularly but has occasional lower back problems. i would be interested to hear from someone in that category. thxs!

Firm_believer: I have been working out for 20+ years & this by far is the best thing I have tried. I have joined gyms, have one in my home, tried other work out videos. currently I am on my 2nd go around. I did Classic to begin & tried the Lean for something different. I always had muscle tone & extreme strength for the type of training I did- but nothing like this. My body for a 40 year old is unbelievable. I am in the best shape of my life. The diet/meal suggestions are wonderful as well. My knees & joints don't hurt anymore from using the treadmill which I did before. To say this does not work- I don't see how. I am the smallest size & most toned/ripped I have ever been. In addition to looking the healthiest I ever have. I have finally lost the water my muscles have been holding. Not only do I have a 6 pack-I see an 8 pk as well.(something I have worked on for years). You need to be serious about this & concentrate on form & do it right then you won't throw anything out of place!!! This is not for a novice.... or someone that is just going thru the motions. I look forward to spending my a.m.'s with Tony EVERY day!

Tim Will, Montgomery, AL: P90X is the Best. I have always been in Physical fitness programs from distance running and competitive martial arts and boxing. Starting out my fitness level was great, but i wanted that extra push and challenge myself. My body fat was 12. After the 1st 30 days I have dropped 5 lbs and dropped 2 percent body fat. I am starting my 2nd phase today. ITS GRRREATTTTT.

mick j.: I have been a high school coach for years and an avid Men's Health Reader. I am a workout-a-holic and this program is the REAL DEAL. It is an amazing tool to take your fitness to the next level. Awesome job at challenging me everyday and millions of others.

Chris D.: Look, no workout program is gonna be perfect for everyone but I think a porgram that works at all is good. I am 341 lbs now, I lost 25 lbs on P90x and doing well and I am on 2nd round. I tried gym's and trainers more $ than this. I will go thru 3 90 day sessions it dont work overnite. Good luck to all.

Matthew61: I've only been using P90x for two weeks so I'll reserve judgment on how it works, though so far, I like it and can already feel some progress. I was concerned to see so many negative comments until I really read them. So typical of people who are unwilling to work to get what they want. Saying "i still ate junk food while on this" is hilarous. WTF, did BeacbBody or Tony make you reach for Twinkies, buddy? Have some freakin discipline. Also, they warn you that it is not for people out of shape so those who said it is too hard, well, maybe get off the couch for a few weeks and get in shape before trying this. Did you people expect to get in shape after 2 weeks? Most of you are probably the type that show up at the gym on Jan 2 and are gone by Jan 15th. There is no overnight cure to your lazy ways. I'll report back after 90 days. Can't be sure it will everyhing it is promised to be, but I will at least give it a shot and have reasonable expectations.

bdub: what about for ppl with joint problems. Is P90x ok for that, or is it too hi-impact? i think it sound great & i want to try it.

kyle: I think it's great program! I have been going to the gym for decades and haven't seen the results i have so far in less then 60 days and lost 20 lbs! have not experience d any joint pain,b ut have never really had problems there. seems like, wth stronger muscles its better on the joints though, maybe?

Scott: I like P90X..the workouts are hard but effective if you stay with them. remember, WORKOUTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HARD IF THEY WERE EASY IT WOULDN'T BE CALLED WORKING OUT...it would be called watching T.V. I'm a long time military veteran and former Airborne Ranger and I have soldiers doing this routine who would take it over anything the Army has to offer. Bottom line is you have to gut through the first month and half and not allow "other projects" to get in the way..I do these workouts all the time and love them.

Brad: Haven't tried P90x, but it from what I've seen, it causes a side effect you all don't want - hard work.

Anonymous: yeah i agree ya, dude, if you want results you had better get ready to sweat a little. Its not supposed to be "fun" , its supposed to HURT and when you feel the BURN you will know you have achieve something. i use this system and the flexbelt, getting amazing results, and having more luck with the ladie s lately too.

Dan: anyone want to sell their P90X (complete ofcourse)? Please email me. thanks!

Kim Johnson. Bolivar MD: I started this about a month ago and I have seen nothing but results, I have went from 210 lbs to 185, this is one of the best exercises I ever done that has really helped me to lose the weight and to feel good about myself. If I can do it then I know anyone can, it is so worth it.

Lee: Hands down, the best fitness product I've seen for already fit and athletic folks. P90X claims straight up that it is NOT for everyone and it is NOT a "diet plan". It is for already fit people who want to take their fitness to an extreme level. For the $$$ and the amazing results that the deicated can receive, it has to be one of the best values on the market.

Donald Bailey: P90X is a real workout. I've been doing P90X for several years and use it as my regular workout. I have tried other workouts and always go back to P90X because of the results. It works, but you have to give it time. Nothing is going to firm you up in a couple weeks. This blog is great, btw, found out about some cool products. if you guys ain't tried Orexis, boy, youre missingout on a whole lotta fun...

Anc98TrevorsBUD: i just got the p90x workout dvds , i am looking foward to the challange. i will keep u guys posted. i do agree that any type of work out or diet takes a lot of time and effort if u quit after the first week u cannot blame the program its all on u how determined u are to getting fit. good luck to everyone .

manny: P90X is not for the lazy, the weak, the unfit and people who lack self disipline. How could anyone blame the system for their own failure. Please don't rate the system if you did not complete a 90 day period. For all of those who that stuck through the program will truly understand that it is not east but the results are real. Keep on pressing play.

TDW: My wife and I are doing this together. We found the nutritional guide nice, but not that great, so are using South Beach for nutritional guidelines. P90X comes with 3 different plans to follow. The normal will build bulk, the Lean plan is for weight loss and slimming, and the Double is for absolute fitness nuts (I cannot imagine even trying it. We chose to follow the Lean plan and I am losing about 5 pound per week. She is losing about 2 pounds per week. Buyers need to be warned that P90X is for those with a good base level of fitness. To see if this is you, the book includes a self-assesment test. If you can not pass it, you need to be honest with yourself and either return P90X immediately, or hold on to it and get into shape enough to start. I would recommend it to anyone serious about improving health, losing weight, and looking better. That is my $.02

gil: I have not tried it but I do look before I shop. I try not to be Impulsive or compulsive so I shop around.Plyometrics is Great I work out at an MMA gym and the cardio is very aggresive and not for everyone. I see how P90x would be to hard for soft minded people. I also have sypmathy for Obese people who buy P90X.This does not seem like a beginners work out. As for buyers remorse and marketing scheems. I also understand. But if you are so angry theat you slam a phone, fall of your chair and chip a tooth, P90x or anything you have to work hard for is not for you . Then you will really be able to sit at your PC and whine. P90X seems to be for hard core spartan types, not for couch potatoes or beginners. So stop double posting try 3 sets of pushups and crounches and finish off with a run if you are not srtrong enough menatlly or financially to buy P90X. Thats why I came to this blog to see if I could really afford the time and cash for P90x, not to hear about I tried it for a week and I suck, I hate my life bla bla. I am sorry for the CUstomer is always right type people who wanted a refund and did not get it. That does suck and is a negative that I am weighing against the positive, its only common sense you look before you buy or get a second opinion . I know it takes a little work to do these things. Which explains some of th e negative feedback. You just were not willing to do a little hard work to get the best results. You should try reseach. It will cut down your Whinnyness by 100%. I dont even want to get into accounability. also another reason i cameto the blog was to see if anyone's found other ways to, get big? i was readng bout vigrx plus, did anyone here try that? seems like a nther good product.

Noah F.: P90X is CRAZY! It's very difficult for beginners but if you're somewhat in shape, you can get through it. Just seriously, look at this video this site has the best price and its official - and then decide. The muscle confusion thing works...it's proven to work. If you've ever lifted weight before, muscle confusion is KEY is gaining solid results as far as lean muscle mass is concerned. Look...all in all...people are more likely to work out at home than to get up, drive to a gym and do all that stuff. Try the video and see what happens. IF you're motivated enough, and disciplined enough...THIS CAN WORK! But it wont work for everybody. Especially if you're a beginner with poor eating habits and a lazy mindset. You have to want...REALLY WANT to be in better shape to achieve it. That's the case with anything.

Noah Foreman: P90X is CRAZY! It's very difficult for beginners but if you're somewhat in shape, you can get through it.. It takes disipline to complete this system. Robert: GET OFF YOUR LAZY RUMPS AND DO IT!! P90X ROCKS!!

JR: It seems like a comprehensive program that could be beneficial. I just bought it and so I can't comment that it "works" or not yet. But if it's too intense, then I'll ease up and do what I can. And if takes me longer than 90 days, fine. I think it's gonna be a good program.

Kyle, Denver CO: My name is Kyle, I am 25 years old and have struggled with my weight all my life. My father has had three heart attacks and my brother of 29 years old just had his first heart attack. I weigh 300 pounds and want to change my life forever not only for me but my wife as well. Will P90X work for me and what should I consider before doing it. Any comments will help please.

JR: Hi, me again. So I was reading through some of the posts, and I think some people are getting a little worked up. Just chill and have a positive outlook on this. For those of you who can go full bore with this workout, that's awesome, I envy you, and I'll be trying to emulate you. For those who aren't great athletes yet (like me), well don't worry. Don't give up, just keep going as best you can, at whatever level you can. All told, it's only $$ - I've spent more than that on cheeseburgers and beer in a month. It's not going to break the bank, so if you already bought it, and they won't give you a refund, well, just use it. The reason why I bought it wasn't because it's a revolutionary new workout system and I wanted the "secret." I bought it because I wanted a motivator. I wanted to follow along with people doing the workouts. I knew it would be the only way for me to actually get off my rear. Whatever motivated you to buy it, that's cool, just use that motivation. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Good luck to you all.

AL, TX: So far anyone who has a thumbs down has basically given up before they started...This workout is the hardest training i've ever done in my life!!!. I went through it for 6 weeks just to get through the dvd's without pausing...PLUS if you think your'e gonna get through it all in 90 days I would be very surprised. With work and home it's ok to take some days off, I call it P120X. Other than that, P90 is awesome.

Justin Adams, Sandy, UT: I purchased p90x a few years ago but was a little intimidated by the program and didn't give it a fair chance. My brother recently purchased p90x and after I saw the results he had I started but with the Lean program. I love it. I have exercised at gyms before and felt healthier but NEVER seen my body and energy change so much over a 90 day period of time and now I am commited to p90x for the rest of my life.

Diamond: Well, I just found this site after ordering P90X yesterday. I wish that I had seen this site last night, I still would have ordered but I would have a better idea of what I'm in for ...lol. I don't know whether I'll like it or not, but I am setting realistic goals. I don't have to lose 20 or 30 pounds in 90 days. If I lose 2 in a month that's good for me if I notice more muscle and definition. From what I hear, muscle is more dense and heavy than fat, so a scale can't tell you that you lost 5 pounds of fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle. Make your goals realistic or you'll shoot yourself down everytime. For those that are horribly negative towards the overweight, just recognize that there are many issues to deal with and negativity just adds to it and discourages even more. Recognize that many people ordered the program not knowing to expect the "intensity" they got, and move on. No need for name calling and NEGATIVE criticism. For those that don't like P90X (Not Beachbody) can you tell us if you completed the 90 days, what your goals were before starting, if you stopped, why you did and maybe why others should not try P90X. Since others have stated to purchase it through other means...I don't want to hear about Customer Service because it skews the reviews about the program and there are other sites to review CS complaints and fraud and such. I just wanted to get genuine feedback and most of the negative comments had issues with motivation, schedule conflict, not sticking with the diet (even though it clearly states that if you don't do the diet don't bother doing the exercise on their website), joint issues, have breathing problems or are obese. Not many have finished the program and explained what their initial goals were and what about the program they followed to the letter failed them. I'll admit that I've tried Tae-bo and liked it, but I wasn't motivated at the time. I almost passed out wheezing after 7 minutes of warm-up and never turned it on again. That was more than two years ago and I spent $40 on 2 discs on a whim, with no outside or internal motivation. I can't blame Billy for that. For those that are looking to lose more than 40 lbs in 90 days, try something less intense, but you set yourself up for disappointment when you set your goals too high in the beginning. If you have the dvd set and you can't get a refund, try doing one disc 2x a week if there is too much variety. Slow the pace until you can catch up to speed. Do something until you can get your money back, but you can't blame the workout if you don't finish the workout. Most of the bashing is toward the company, not the workout. Even the ones that say they finished and the results aren't what they expected still got some results. It takes more than 90 days to get that keg, normally it takes at least twice as long to convert it to a six pack than it did to get it in keg shape. Be patient. Take baby steps if needed. Don't give up. Find what works for YOU, but don't discourage others from a good or even great product (I don't know which it is yet) because of your lack of motivation. Others could very well get out of it what you chose to walk away from, but that's not a flaw in the program. Oh, and if it matters I'm female, 5'10" and 175 lbs. I'm looking to lose maybe 10 lbs at the most, but weight loss is not my main concern (although chartwise, I'm considered overweight). I want to build muscle and tone up. I am prepared for and have been planning a diet change to include more healthy foods. I'm sure I will slip and I won't be able to keep up in the beginning, but I promise that if I lose motivation and quit before 90 days...I won't complain on this blog! To everyone on here, whenever you find what works for you, stick with it...and I hope you have much success!

Anon.: P90X is clearly not for someone who is unmotivated or unwilling to challenge themself. It takes dedication and commitment. As with any workout plan, you HAVE to change your lifestyle. You cannot expect a video to give you a beautiful body... you have to work for it. I started P90x in shape and was looking to obtain awesome abs and trim up the remaining flab I have. I have been working out with P90X for about 5 weeks on the lean plan and have been watching my caloric intake... not really dieting. You DO NOT need the supplements that they recommend. While I have only lost about five pounds so far, there are multiple other benefits. First of all, my abs are waayyy more defined, my arms are much more trim, my love handles and back fat (something I have had a hard time with) are disappearing, and while the hour and a half yoga sucks, I can totally bend over and touch the floor (something I was not able to do before), and I can do three times as many push ups. I own many other DVD workout programs and found P90X to be one of the best. Buy it if you are ready to COMMIT an hour a day to a healthy lifestyle, don't if you are buying to test it then return it or if you are looking for a quick fix. If you want lasting results, you HAVE to work for them.

johnnywalkerred: You can't blame this workout routine for YOU losing motivation. I have been using it for about a year and have lost 32 pounds. I like the fact that I don't get bored with the same old routine and love the tough yoga workout. I have never done yoga that was so tough! Doing this has been good for my sex life too, by the way. This and the Vialipro helps too of course, for a little added, extra oomph.

sam: I think p90x is a very good program! you know, i have been hearing so much talk on here about how hard it is , and it IS challanging, but I want to point out that once you've been doing it for a while and get into a "zone" of really knowing what you're doing, it becomes a pleasure to do. Not easy, but fun because you know you CAN do it. Does that make sense? I love the sense of accomplishment i have every time i do it, and that inspires me to keep it up.

Randy: I am on my second week of the program and I have already lost 10 pounds. I do agree with a lot of the comments about the program being extreme but thats what it is all about. Anyone who thought it would be easy obviously wasn't committed in the first place. I have one question though. I bought the program on Amazon and it did not come with the guide. Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy. I would just like to know if there is a certain sequence to do each workout. Thanks.

Stephen Williams, Fort Lauderdale, FL: I have been using P90X for three weeks now. So, I am going into my last week before the routine changes. So far, so good. I have lost about five pounds and 2 inches off my waist. I have had to replace pants and shirts that are now too big for me to wear. Everyone is noticing the changes that have taken place. I am extremely satisfied with P90X.

gerard: I did the p90x for the required 90 days and never missed a day. I am 52 years old and this workout worked wonders for me .I did follow a diet throughout .I went from 210 lbs down to 190 lbs .I was not ripped like Tony Horton but I had completely lost my excess belly and my arms and shoulders were defintely larger and defined .This program works

BUD: TO ALL OF THOSE THAT THINK P90X DOES NOT WORK I TELL YOU IT DOES I'M DOING IT AND I'M GETTING AWESSOME RESULTS. YOU NEED TO PUT THE EFFORT AND KEEP GOING IS NOT EASY BUT IT WORKS. PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT IS EASY TO GET A GOOD BODY SHAPE WITHOUT WORKINOUT HARD. P90X I LOVE IT!!!!

mob112: was horribly out of shape and did 90 days and was then only out of shape. did another 90 and am now in best shape in last ten years, am 51, it is hard program, but much easier than going to gym or buying tons of home excerise equipment.

Curt Robinson: The common thread for the thumbs up I'm seeing here is that they stuck with it. I lost 30 lbs and am in the best shape since college. And it was HARD to lose the 30 lbs. Each lb lost is a 3,500 calorie deficit and for me a P90X workout is about 750 calories. Get the FitDay program and watch what you eat and do the math and the workouts and you will get the results. IF you work hard.

Paul: I've done P90X for 3 rounds (12 months w couple weeks between full rounds) the only way to get the benefit it TO DO IT... don't make excuses...This program Rocks! But it is NOT for the timid you will hurt. this is for Extreme workout personnel who have that kind of mindset. It works!

andy: well you know, I feel that I really tried the program and just didn't get results. I've always had a hard time losing weight regardless of what I do. having a negative impact onmy sex drive too, man, especially as i get older. anything i can do to, you know, lose a few lbs and spiek up the old libido?? im really at a loss here, this program seemed like it'd kick my butt, just got real frustrated.

khan: muscle confusion is not a myth at all it seems most of you dont know what your talking about. I forget when they started calling it that but your body is just like your brain and has memory. If you stick to the same thing you will hit a wall and not get any better you may maintain your current state but thats all. when you switch up your workouts add more wieght take away weight do more reps etc..it confuses your muscles or shocks them in to improving. I never do the same excercise for the same body part for more than a month. There is no magic pill this is not the matrix you have to work for what you want when it comes to your body some have it better because genetics is a factor. Your body is a reflection or what you take in, be it air water,it does not matter you take in garbage and thats what you get. its easy as hell to gain weight but hard to loose it.I dont use this program but my brother does and he looks amazing but he sticks to it I never seen him stick to anything like this before. But I got this for free since one of my friends made me copies. Maybe you should do one dvd until you feel you mastered it then move on or dont switch up so much. I think it works but sometimes you can achieve what you want with other methods than what works for other people.

Curt Robinson: Forgot to add this: Forget the scale. On the PC program FitDay you can take body measurements and keep track of them. This is a great way to see results since body weight can fluxuate by several pounds a day from water and such. I lose fat in my face and neck first then everywhere else after that and then my middle last which is the first place I'd like to lose it of course. :) But when I see the tape measurements get smaller every Sunday morning I know I'm getting results even though the scale didn't change. Eventually the scale will show a lower number but the tape rules.

Scott: I have used P90X for 2 months and have had tremendous results. I do not use their nutrition plan but the workouts alone if followed with any dedication will really get you in top physical condition. I love to workout now. I'm 44 years old and I'm in the best shape of my life. I have lost 15 pounds and feel absolutely fantastic. I you don't apply yourself how can you expect and results. Find what works for you and stick to it. p90X "works" for me.

Chad: I Works!!! Only if you follow it. if you get lazy and stop of course it doesn't work. . The X is for Extreme, if your looking for an Easy workout this ain't it!!! If you want to work hard and get in shape P90X may be for you. cool to see this program on the blog, first came here to find something for staying hard, but you know really, being in shape & better sex go hand in hand.

ROB J: I'VE BEEN DOING P90X FOR 1WEEK I FEEL GREAT. IT GIVES ME ENERGY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE AND I FEEL MUSCLE THAT I HAVEN'T FELT IN MONTHS I KNOW IF I STICK WITH THE WORKOUT AT THE END OF THE 90 DAYS I WILL BE BACK TO MY BODY SIZE FROM COLLEGE AND EVEN BETTER.

JOEL DICKINSON: This is tough, I feel like I could use something "extreme" and soem of these positive posts are encouraging..though i tend to have no willpower if I start feeling the pain. I am not sure if I will try P90X...it still looks like it might be outta my league.

ED: p90x is great program i was lucky i didt have to buy it.but u do need to be in decent shape for it.also remember everybodys body is diffrent somes will lose weight faster than other so dont bash on any one.

mike: look, P90x is a great workout, but it's not gonna get you cut in 1 week. Its an advanced program for people that are in decent shape already. If you dont work out at all dont start with p90x. But if you can stick with it and do all the work outs it'll cut the sh*t outta you.

Nick Matson, Omaha: Best workout I have done, in just my first week have already lost 6 pounds and seeing definition in shoulders and arms. Do your best and forget the rest, even if you struggle with some of the exercises or can't complete all the reps initially, you will still see results. It burns but push through it do what you can its been a great way to increase my fitness. Sore, but I have more energy and feel better.

brian: every one i know who has tried P90x has got results. people who didn't get results? they stopped doing it or gave up. Just keep going, folks and this progrm will not let u down.

suck it up!: I'm 39yrs old and am on week one of the workout. Yes, it is hard, but like many of us, I've have been sitting on my butt complaining instead of doing. I read, spelled R-e-a-d, the fitness and nutrition guides "before" I started the workout, which is why I think it's working so well for me. The guides actually explains what the system is, what muscle confusion is and why it's necessary to see any real change. It is a little steep in price but that just motivates me to get through it. I don't buy their supplements because I can get the same thing cheaper at Walmart and local sporting goods stores. I definitely rate this a thumbs up "if" you are motivated and are disciplined to workout on your own and follow a routine. Good luck to all of the motivated masses out there. We are a dying breed.

phil: The review is right P90x is an excellent workout program that works well for experienced athletes and for those who need to get in shape. The fact is, this is a workout program, its meant to GET you in shape and its not just for people who arleady ARE in shape. OBviously it rocks for ppl who do work out as well, but I think its important to open your mind and realize that just bcs a program might be tough at first, doesn';t mean you can't master it. Just be patient with yourself and keep on pushing. you wont be sorry,.

Jerome: Got sucked into a long infomercial for the P90x system one day, and gotta admit I ws skeptical but curious. I did more research on it, nad did seem tofind a lot of whiners, on other sites, who just couldn't hang with it. Wanted to say I appreciate these reviews, I fel t like youguys were being real wht your experiences. THere's no easy way here, its just a complete program that works,if you do it. Am only a few weeks in but can really tell its working me. Looking forwar d to even bigger changes soon.

Gregory: This is the best in-home exercise program I have ever done. Yes its intense, and you will feel like you have used just about every muscle in your body by the time you are done. but that is an awesome feeling, too. I started off as a total soft-body, thin but just weak, and this program got me into shape and i actually feel kind of powerful now. I would recommend P90x to anyone, gym rats included. If you still want to keep going to the gym, fine, but with this you really dont even have to.

cyrus alberts: with p 90X I was relly able to take my workouts to hte next level. it was like having a coach again, better than that even. one thing i'll say is, you gotta be self-motivated, since tony's not actually watching you. yougotta be honest with yourself, keep on pushing & you'll get there. whenever i needed inspiratioin i just read the blogs or the testimonials and kept at it.

JR: I got ripped in 90 days. I followed the "classic" work out plan and used the meal book as a guide only. I couldn't do the full meal plan because I'm the dad in a family of 4 and couldn't feed those meals to everyone. I lost 30lbs and my endurance went way up. It works, but takes your commitment.

Qben: i was 35 & 198 pounds i tried P90X last year, within that year i droped to 168 pounds look and feel better than i was 15 years old. it's far from being easy but if you stick to it you won't be mad. i'm 36 now and i haven't done the program for since Jan. i kept the wait down and still feel great. P.S. i will start again this week.

Ben: p90x does wrk you guys who say different is a real idiot put forth the effort and u will get results still got a gut but lost a lot of it and iam 10 times stronger then iwas so get off your lazy *ss and pick up a weight need to change are country from fat*ss 2 stone cold once again get up america and move your fat *ss

Sean J: I just turned 46 and have been doing P90X for the last two years. Some of you are saying...what..two years..... Its a 90 day plan, but I just keep starting new rotations, and adding other programs. I lost 19 lbs, I still need another 8 to come off, but I have not really changed my eating habits..so shame on me. But the program works...is fun and has made me look better...I got lots of compliments at the neighborhood pool this year. It also helped lower my cholesterol and blood pressure. Ill keep using it, but now I usually only do one round instead of 2 as the DVD shows. I think you can get results with any program...if you actually do it...think about it..the Back and Chest DVD has you doing various push-ups and pull-ups for 50 mins..something like 300 if you can max out...you are going to get results...but can you BRING IT. PS - While there are 3 individuals on the DVDs representing beginner, intermediate and advanced P90Xers, you should be in half way decent shape before you start..or you will lose interest quickly and complain that its too hard.

michael: about 3 months ago i bought P90X and the muscle gain was great. i needed a system that could give me results before bootcamp. my ist(intial strength test) scores were low before i started at 5 pull-ups, 52 crunches, and a 12 min. 1.5 mile run. now that i did P90X my scores are way better at 20 pull-ups, 90 crunches, and a 10 mile run. it works, you just have to motivate yourself to do it.

P90X – Get Ripped & In Your Best Shape In 90 Days

The fitness market has often tried to pigeonhole its male consumers. It seems like most fitness routines are focused on bulk, size and strength for men who want to look like world-class bodybuilders and gym rats. But we know that often men want different things. Not every guy wants to look like he’s about to burst out of his clothes. Indeed, many men, perhaps even the majority, simply want to be healthy, fit, strong and toned.

If you’re looking for a fitness program that will help you achieve such goals, we think P90X® is an exciting and a great place to start putting your efforts. P90X® is a 90-day regimen that will insure you accomplish a wide variety of goals. The program is designed not only to increase strength, firmness and tone, but it’s also ideal for increasing cardiovascular performance, coordination, weight loss and athleticism. In short, P90X® is not about getting huge, though you could achieve such results with P90X®. Rather, P90X® is about getting fit and strong, so you’re able to get out there and do anything and everything you want to do. And you’ll look fantastic while you’re at it!

Main Program and What it Does
P90X® is based on an incredibly innovative technique, in our opinion. Somewhat similar to circuit or interval training, P90X® employs something called Muscle Confusion™ to stimulate the body to greater results. By putting your body through a variety of workouts, P90X® prevents your muscles from getting used to a routine. In doing so, P90X® prevents plateauing. You know what that’s like. You work and work, and suddenly, you stop seeing results. Your body gets used to what you’re doing. And eventually, you give up. Not so with the P90X® program.

With P90X® you get to push yourself through a really intense variety of workouts: Chest & Back, Pylometrics, Shoulders & Arms, Yoga X, Legs & Back, Kenpo X, X Stretch, Core Synergistics, Chest/Shoulders & Triceps, Back & Biceps, Cardio X and Ab Ripper X. With a few resistance bands and a place to do pull-ups, you can work through conventional routines and more innovative techniques.

Pylometrics, for example, is a jump training program for increased cardiovascular training. Kenpo X employs fighting moves for increased coordination, balance and endurance.

You can see some awesome video presentations on the website, which shows how powerful this program really is.

 Price
At this time, P90X® can be purchased for $119.99 plus $14.95 shipping & handling. It’s not a bad deal when you consider you only need resistance bands and a pull-up bar, which you may already have. And if you don’t have them, you can add them to your order for a very fair price.

 Positives
• P90X® is great for strength training and weight loss, and it uses muscle confusion techniques that are innovative.
• P90X® can be tailored to meet your strength training goals.
• P90X® requires as little or as much equipment as you please.
• P90X® comes with a nutrition plan for guys who need a little help with their eating habits.

 Website
The P90X® website is straightforward, clean and easy to navigate. The video descriptions of the 12 workouts are awesome and extremely helpful. We like that the site is clearly more about information than about flash and flair.

 Final Facts
We think men will really benefit from using P90X®. If you’re looking to increase strength and stamina, reduce body weight and flab, and enhance your overall appearance and wellness, P90X® is the perfect program. There are other fitness programs out there for men, but we propose they should all be measured against P90X® and its innovative approach to strength and fitness training. This program is awesome!
